Menopause at such a young age would not be impossible, but it would be unusual. The doctor who diagnosed your hormone imbalance should be able to give you an explanation. If you are having trouble getting pregnant, you might want to see a fertility specialist.

I am almost 24 years old. I stand five foot eight inches tall. I wear almot a 10.5 in men's shoes and almost a 12 in women's shoes. I swear that me feet grow about one full size a year. I pray that it stops because I already have problems finding shoes. At least you only wear an 8 in women, girl.

I just turned 30 in March of 2005. I am 5?7 @ 190 pounds. I am taking YASMIN as my birth control pill and I am also on ZOLOFT 50mg. I have two boys ages 7 & 6. For some reason over the past two months or longer I have not been sleeping well, all I do is have hotflashes. I don’t understand at the age of 30 why my body is doing this. I have called my OBGYN for her help. I go in two days. I have no clue what to ask the doctor or what to expect. Is this normal at my age? I find myself very worried about this.

Any advice would be wonderful.

This is weird. ever since highschool i have worn size 7 shoes. but then a few years ago it seemed i needed to move up to 7 1/5. it just thought it was the shoes, like clothes the sizes arent always right. but now i am wearing size 8. this just doesnt make sense to me, i stopped growing when i was 16. do the feet just keep growing on their own? when does it stop? i dont see a lot of people with size 20 shoes but if this keeps up thats where i'll be. help!

I have read that hair loss can be from stress. If that is the cause then it may be only temporary.

Hate to admit it but I think my feet are hurting because I've gained weight over time. We don't think about it, do we? But most people get heavier and the metabolism slows down, especially after menopause. I think losing 20 pounds might make the feet happier.

Maybe its the best thing just to make the most of it. I have one friend with this problem, she doesn't try to hide it, keeps the hair cut really short and wears big earrings, always has great makeup and stylish clothes. She looks good and i don't think many people are really focusing on her hair.

It can be depressing. I see this in a lot of women usually if they are in their 70's or 80's. There are tv commercials for women's rogaine, but i don't know how good that really is or if it would work for everyone.

Hi,
You might try a natural tincture called "Vitex."
Also, lay off of the coffee, and replace the coffeemaker with Yerba Mate herbal tea.
Also, try to keep active with exercise. It helps.
I am 52 and have had many rollercoaster harmone rides. I love coffee, so it is a real challenge to stay in balance.
Hope this helps.
